Include a variety of natural ingredients in the diet like fresh fruits, raw salads, sprouted grains, yoghurt, fresh fruits, juices, leafy green vegetables, oatmeal, oats, and green tea. Remember, fresh fruit juice should be diluted more than water. Drink plenty of water to make the skin glow. Mix the juice of one lemon in a glass of water and consume it first thing in the morning. It makes the skin glowing.

• Pay special attention to the cleanliness of the face. Wash your face with fresh water 2-3 times a day. Avoid applying heavy creams and moisturizers on the face.

Then rub gently and wash off with water.

Yoghurt or lemon juice can be added to this mixture. Apply it to the face and leave it for half an hour. Then wash off with plain water. It not only helps in brightening but also removes tan and makes the skin soft.

• You can use a homemade face mask two or three times a week. For the mask, mix two spoons of wheat bran with one spoon of ground almonds, curd, honey and rose water.
